Screen automatically minimizes

I'm having a problem with ZSNES 1.36.

I know your only susposed to report bugs from the latest version, but that version does not run Tecmo Super Bowl well for net play, and thats the main game I play on it. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I didn't see a specific forum for the older versions.

Anyways my problem is this:

I open ZSNES. Its a black screen for a few seconds, then the mouse appears like a normal windows mouse, and then the screen just minimizes, and continues to do so everytime I bring it back up/reopen it.

Can anyone help with this?

Try deleting your config. files.

And if deleting the config files don't work, try press alt+enter.
