It's things like this that only reinforce gaming's bad reputation in some people's minds. At least it was only BB's and nobody was seriously injured.

If I recall correctly, somebody was shot at a Wal-Mart around here somewhere, the shooter took the guys PS3 and ran-off.

I didn't hear about that, but I did see lots of reports of people waiting in line getting mugged and one guy getting shot in Connecticut.

seriously dude, think about that question for even half a second. meet demand? it's not like people need a ps3. people only want a ps3 because they can't get one. sony created a product, put it out for sale. and not only does it completely sell out, but there's people waiting in line for over a week just to get it. how many products can do that? I'm sure sony is cranking out as many ps3's as possible. they'll sell more in the next month than they will in the next year so why hold back?

people don't need ps3s, they just want one cause they're complete fucking morons. I bet 90% of ps3 owners who haven't sold theirs on ebay (there's over 12,000 on ebay) had no idea what the graphics or anything were gonna be like. they just waited in line for a week and blindly bought this product. I doubt even christians have that much faith!

Still they where bought and a buy is the only thing that count at the store. Those who can't sell their PS3 at ebay will be stuck with them. A friend of mine said that he saw a PS3 sell on ebay for $30,000 with 15 games but I have not seen it on ebay.

I think a few very early ps3s went for rediculous prices. I would get a 20 gig ps3 and slap in a 150 gig hdd and sell that. definately get a lot more for it!

Yeah, I am puzzled why the jump from 20 to 60 GB drives costs $100. A typical 80 GB computer hard drive costs like $60, I believe. Sony is just ripping people off.
