I'm curious about how the SNES works. Where can I find good SNES technical documentation?
I've looked at some, and it has lots of "I don't know what this does" sprinkled around everywhere.

1024x896 windowed mode without any blurring?
Is there a way to get a 1024x896 windowed mode without any blurring? I've tried both the R and DR modes. The R mode uses the video hardware's interpolation, and the DR mode is slightly blurred.

Okay... Crazy idea. Emulate two different SPC700s. One audible, the other silent. Have one run at normal speed and communicate with the CPU as normal. This is the silent one. Have the other one run at a variable speed, except if there has been communication with the CPU within the last thousand cloc...

Changing gameplay and sound speed independently?
This is a feature request, I was wondering if it would be possible to be able to speed up gameplay, yet keep the sound playing at normal speed. Maybe change the rate of the timers in the SPC, or underclock it, or whatever would accomplish the effect. It would be mainly useful for RPGs. Really, who p...

Feature request: Vsync without 100% CPU usage (Windows)
Is it possible to have ZSNES able to wait for VSYNC without using 100% CPU usage? I read something on codeproject that said that the WaitForVerticalBlank directx call is basically a spinlock idle loop, and for better performance, use a 2ms multimedia timer along with GetScanLine to wait for vblank. ...

Yoshi's Island 1-7 "Touch Fuzzy Get Dizzy" bug
Every 8 pixels scrolled, it displays the background layer 8 pixels too far to the left for a single frame, then displays in the correct position subsequently. Disabling 'New graphics engine' or disabling 'Offset mode' gets rid of the snap-back scrolling problem. Previous versions did not have this b...

So I went and inserted my Soul Blazer SNES cartridge (US) into my SNES, booted it up, and it had the slow intro music glitch! But only once. I reseted the system, normal correct music. Turned power off for 10 seconds, correct music. Unplugged the SNES, correct music. I'm guessing there's a bug in th...

Support plugging and unplugging joypads while running
From what I've noticed, when you unplug a USB controller while ZSNES is running, then plug it back in again, it will not recognize the controller until you restart the program. That gets annoying. I'd like to see ZSNES able to recognize controllers as they are plugged in. Maybe it would be possible ...

1400x1050 screen resolution support?
I have a laptop with a 1400x1050 screen. It should probably be easy to add that to the list of resolutions supported.
