Finally I solved the problem.
I tried it with Knoppix but no difference.
Then I took my powered USB Hub and plugged it in the computer in which the controller didn't work.
I played for about a hour with no disconnect problem. Think the USB supply voltage was too low.

the controller works fine with FC4 Kernel 2.16.14. Tested it just for a few minutes under supertux cause I have no other game installed on this computer. I just bought an new noname USB Gamepad. It works fine for a few minutes and then suddenly stops working.
