above normal instead of high priority

Could zsnes give an option for above normal instead of just high priority? I find that sometimes above normal is just enough to get something to run smoothly but above normal makes the system slow down.

I don't think the configuration files are the problem, because I "installed" zsnes to it's own directory. Anyway I deleted the config files just in case, and what it does is when I load the game, it automatically copies the newest save slot to slot 0, overwriting whatever is there, and tha...

What makes it confusing is that even when I set it up like this is it says it loaded it from state 0, when I know that it was saved in a different state.

start at lastest save

Is it possible to have ZSnes automatically start at the lastest save when you load a game? The visualboy emu already has this.
