Re: O SHIT
Still waiting for the second coming of Pagefault to give us a new release of Zsnes on the day of Armageddon. I'm pretty some RL stuff came up and that's why he's not on, and why Zsnes is deader than a zombie. Maybe. Suspect that too, something like him being hired by some company with a "no pi...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
I suppose the main reason behind Pagafault's disappearance is related to his current job: emulation is considered akin to piracy by many IT companies and If you sign a contract with them they put a clause in it that forbids you to be involved in any pirate activity until the contract lasts. I rememb...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Nice to return here and read that zsnes is coming back, faster and stronger than ever. I was losing hope after the long lack of progress updates (and the lack of pagefault: I thought he dropped the project after I found that he got hired by a big name in the IT sector, thought they made him sign a &...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Just passing by for my usual annual visit to check if Zsnes is still alive or not :) Also let me wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year. BTW, is pagefault still active on the project? It's something like three years since his last post here: does anybody have news about him? Is he fine? I'm...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Why the weird face, dood. It's only what I've been repeating for the last few years. You know, the average reader comes here and doesn't see new releases, nor he reads news from the developers, so I think it's natural for him to presume that zsnes is dead. I also think that something more substanti...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
I asked Nach a couple of weeks ago, and he said he was working on things. So as the thread indicates, zsnes is still in development and is not dead, despite the lack of recent releases. So now we can assume that zsnes is not dead and even Nach is still active coding? BTW, what about Pagefault? It's...

Re: ZSNES is not dead - Still in development
Just relogged after years of absence on this forum: still not dead? Really?
Are Pagefault and the other members of the team still around this boards?

Another proof about it:
http://cia.vc/stats/project/zsnes
I see only minor changes there, but they're recent, so I suppose that Pagefault is still working on major changes on the core without committing them: I would gladly hear a word from him (just a short status report) about that if possible...

why do I get the feeling this is yet another April Fool's Joke :? ROTFL, now that I checked my clock I could think it too  I was hoping in another thread here that many persons would catch the classical timed bait hidden in zsnes' code that pops up today, but this one would be very evil if it'...

Re: ZSNES 2.0 Status
I think that the name should be left unchanged: it's well known as you suggested, and the emulator itself it'also something "historic" among the scene. There's also a personal thing behind my obvious personal choice in the poll: I think that a name change would somehow "erase" Zs...

He's probably an alien and can make all those kidnapped people code in their brain when they sleep and then upload the result to the jonascave central compies for review. Nice to hear he's fine and still kicking, but as I said in another post he's certainly not an alien, and now that the 1st of apr...

start zget and make the error appear. click the icon on the left in the menu bar and choose EDIT -> MARK then with the mouse highlight what you want then press enter to copy. Ok, i knew that, but see below: I can only copy part of the error list, the first lines in the command prompt window are not...

The SVN repository location has moved oh so slightly, which is why you're having the problems. So, do I need to edit some cfg file inside zget's dir (mirrors maybe?), or am I forced to wait a future release of Zget? If you want zget to get you documents, you either hack the binary with a hex editor...

We made some progress, note we still have some things to work out, so the final version will sound better than this recording, right now we're dropping the occasional sample. http://nsrt.edgeemu.com/audio.mp3 404 error :( I also noticed that your whole site is gone (seems that your host is moving t...

If the buttons don't register on the pad, it may simply be looking for other particular buttons... Try the 6 button config and see if it is detected there. If it doesn't, I don't think there can be much be done here.. Just compiled and tested r3966: now we're going to wait at least christmas to see...

Great work, guys! Now it's compile time for me (but I think i'm going to wait a while, read below) :) BTW (I promise i won't hassle you and the other devs for a while with other nasty bug reports), I compiled and tested r3965: the path bug has been corrected, and the joypad problem is almost gone: n...
