Re: Firesafe & Hard Disk
If whatever you are backing up is that important and you have the means to afford it, you may want to consider springing for a safe deposit box at a bank.

Re: pSX emulator v1.13 released!
The website for this emulator seems to be down. Any other way to get news on this?

Yes, it was between v018 and v019. I don't have anything prior to v019's release, either, except the oldest copy I have -- v002 ir9. Accidentally erased the backup drive I kept them on, forgot I didn't have copies on my main PC. This site appears to have several backups of the source: http://snesem...

Not to get too far off topic or beat a dead horse thread, but a while ago there was discussion about a Direct3D render that would change some other stuff like how the filters work with hi-res. Did you ever have any success with that approach? Obviously the ZSNES team has a ton of stuff going on so p...

You will need to check in System Properties->Hardware Devices->Sound Card... etc. and see what resources your sound card takes up. If it is not consuming a DMA channel, then it is a PCI sound card. Just a follow-up for kebabpizza if you're booting directly into DOS and not Win9x: check in your BIOS...

Just a suggestion from a self-taught coder (who doesn't have much time to do it anymore): pay attention in your math classes. Yes, it seems boring, it may seem like there's not much of a point to it, but math knowledge is tremendously important to coding. Do your homework and don't cheat by pulling ...

This appears to be fixed as of r4538 - see my post on the other thread: http://board.zsnes.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8276
Hopefully that can be replicated. Congrats!

Just compiled on Windows to r4538 and two long time CT bugs appear to be fixed. No flickering in Chrono Trigger, and now the walking/running animation shows up properly. I hope other people can replicate that same behavior. Assuming what I noticed can be replicated - congrats to pagefault et. al for...

I dunno, but I'm not experiencing that issue from your srm file. Tried it in town and on the fields. No crash whatsoever. You need something more reproducable (mention what settings you have enabled/disabled from the default settings). No problem... The only changes that I've made are video setting...

Deathlike2: I've been able to reproduce the SD3 problem using builds with and without release grade/CPU optimizations. Just to make sure I'm being clear, the in-game menu I was talking about is the one with status/magic/etc, not the wheel menu where you can select items. Maybe my SRAM file is borked...

mastershake1, did you make sure you delete the obj files before you compiled? Also, try deleting the cfg file to start clean. I do not experience your issue. I compiled on a system with no previous zget build so there were no object files, and likewise there was no previous cfg file in my zsnes dir...
