I could be wrong, but this seems like a virus is attacking his config files. Try a virus scan, as well as an ad/spyware scan. Follow Paul Bunyan's sig for such tools. I did a viruscan and deleted the stuff, but still, no sound. EDIT: Just so you know, I DO have the SNES console, and the simearth ca...

No, why? I keep it just in case something happens, such as a virus deleting the program files.

The Sim- games (simearth, simant...) are not currently properly emulated. Oh, so its with the ROM, not the emulator? Well no, it's an emulator issue. Even if your ROM is good, zsnes won't emulate it the right way. Try to quit zsnes, then restart it before playing another game. Tell us if that fix y...

Because the map isn't actually required for gameplay. I can just switch between Edit view and Globe view.

And I've had the emulator only since saturday, when a friend told me about it, so i am VERY new to this emulator stuff.

Sound problem

For the past day or two, I've been playing simearth pratically nonstop. Now, when I load another game, the sound doesn't work. I tried the "save/load state" thingamajig, as well as the autosave, but neither are working. Right now, the sound will work only on SimEarth.

Any advice?
