There is a problem with the zsnes package in the Ubuntu repositories. I've just compiled the source from zsnes.com myself and sound works (relatively) fine.

I have a GeForce Go 7400, and while I am 100% sure that I have used hq2x before on here with no problem, it no longer works. Zsnes bombs out when it is selected, and jaa3rd's solution does not work for me (Zsnes bombs out immediately upon running). Issue is present in both windowed and fullscreen. H...

hq3x, hq4x on SDL build

I'm curious - is there any particular reason why hq3x and hq4x are not available in the SDL port? Is it more difficult to implement than hq2x for some reason? All of the filters look inexplicably terrible (especially with resolutions that are not 8:7 - and they never looked bad at all under Windows)...

Sound lags slightly after fast-forwarding

I compiled ZSNES on Ubuntu 7.04 with --enable-release and --enable-libao. Sound works just fine, but after fast-forwarding, all sound is delayed by about half a second. Pressing esc to go into the menu and then continuing emulation returns sound to normal. My specs: 2.0 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo 1 GB RAM...
