Well, that sort of thing isn't perfect. It would take a large amount of skill in most games in general to make unplayable characters playable for usually a variety of simple reasons. Other "characters", specifically unplayable ones, may not have the sprites (if we're talking most 2D games ...

Getting games is up to you, can't help you with that here. Read the rules. Setting it up just takes exploring the menus a bit, try finding your input setup and learning or setting up which keys you want to be which buttons. the File > Load dialog will help you find and load your dumped image (game) ...
