Netplay Compatible Copy Of ZSNES Mac Needed
I'm trying to netplay with my friend using ZSNES. He has a PC I have a Mac. I was able to pull it off by running ZSNES 1.42 for Windows through Crossover, but the only problem is crossover doesn't support external controllers. I want to get a netplay compatible copy of ZSNES for Mac, so I can play u...

Re: Same ROM, different File?!
outdated? Are there still new ROMs which appear from somewhere?! I read about copier headers in between the posts - is there any use? HiROM/LoROM can be detected by the rom itself - waht about the save-RAM size? If these headers are not usefull at all, I'd use the commandline version of NSRT to stri...

Same ROM, different File?!
I wonder how the rom-files are organized. I have some files, which GoodSNES tells me are the same - but their filehash differs. Somehow Goodsnes seems to ignore padding or metadata?! If it's just padding, is there a tool which automatically strips the padding? (and only the padding) or (if needed fo...

Re: ZSNES on Samsung TV - TV looses signal
Pretty much, yes (haven't timed it precisely).odditude wrote: is the time period consistent?
I doubt it, I have no desktop environment running on the machine, just Xare you running into your screensaver timeout (and ubuntu is choking on zsnes's method of screensaver suppression)?
Cheers,

ZSNES on Samsung TV - TV looses signal
Hi all, I am trying to run zsnes on my xbmc box, and so far, gaming works just fine. But only for a couple of minutes. Re: Config Files Not Saving on Mac
Downloaded latest version and it works now. Thanks. I thought I had the latest version
And I tried SNES9x, but I prefer zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) cause it has video filters that actually make the game look higher quality than it actually is

Config Files Not Saving on Mac
Games won't save, states won't save, PAR codes won't save, nothing involving a game will save. I set up a save file folder and gave it full read and write permissions, but it just saves a file called "srm" that says it's a ZSNES document, but it doesn't save my games at all. I enabled the ...

Re: Write a Bot/AI that can play SNES
Whats the easiest way to analyze the memory? I tried Cheat Engine... Opened the snes9x.exe and looked at RAM addresses 0x7e0000-0x7fffff but only zeros :( ok snes9x has a ram watcher ;) pretty nice! but somehow snes9x crashes sometimes really annoying... The OS (Windows 7) protects the memory from ...

Filters
What about using filters from http://code.google.com/p/2dimagefilter/ ? This would extend the users choice for image upscaling.
At least they would need to be ported from C# to C++ but this is not that hard.
This is only a suggestion.

When that's checked, and you have a game loaded, you can adjust the controls and it'll only apply to that game. It doesn't work for me. I checked Game Specific, loaded a game, and configured the controls. Then I loaded a different game and unchecked the box but the buttons didn't get changed back t...

Can you have multiple gamepad config profiles?
I was trying to create multiple gamepad button profiles. I thought that configuring Input Devices 1-5 was how to do it but it only uses the buttons from Input 1. Are we allowed to have more than one gamepad profile?
