To me, it looks like it is supposed to be an adder of some sort... Check here to see a half adder: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~ref/pgss/lecture/11/haddr00.gif You link 2 half adders together to get a full adder. Here is a full adder: http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~ref/pgss/lecture/11/faddr000.gif You link these ...
tovid does it all for you magically :) http://tovid.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Ah, but I never compiled anything in my life! AND I don't have Linux/OS X/etc. Should have made that clear that you want everything done for you and you want it on windows, having said that though, tovid can compile with c...
You can use Tovid to automagically give you the correct bit rate and some pretty good compression settings to get the most onto a dvd at the highest quality possible. MPEG2 is a much less advanced compression format than MPEG4, so yes, the file sizes will balloon. Tovid homepage: http://tovid.wikia....
What? Why would hardware incompatibilities prevent an Genesis emu from working when NES and SNES emus work? That makes no fucking sense whatsoever. ... *bangs head on desk* It's a joke, referencing one of the most famous ad campaigns in the history of videogaming. It's not even a particularly imagi...
The savestates for VC games are stored right in the save files for the games. If you look at NES games that have no battery RAM, they still have files in the Wii saves organizer. However, these cannot be copied onto SD. Even the games that do have sram, when you copy that file to SD it says somethi...
http://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/step2.asp?DID=768 Try to learn to use a video editor, you had one or two scenes in there that were good if you were trying to sync it, but it looked like you just plastered a song in place of the audio track. Heres an example of what you can do with that ...

Well you might be able to crash the emulator by giving it malformed data too. In that case, it would probably be virtual console - console specific crash. Memory and Registers should be the same across an emulated system, just feed it RAM thats too long, it should have an effect on something, or if ...
Hmm more like backing up the save state to an SD card an altering then putting it back. My SD Card reader is out right now so I can't see if copying the game with a save state and without will yeild a state to edit or if it is seperate. Plus, I don't know if the states are encrypted or not either. B...
Hmm an interesting idea occured to me today. The virtual console makes a save state if you go to the wii menu then power off the console... makes you wonder how those save states are stored and if we can throw erroneous information into it to crash it...
Rydian: - So if I use a faulty driver and get a BSOD, it's microsoft's poor planning? It depends on whether they made the engine or not. Next time I will use sarcasim tags.... - I'm talking about all the different data you can include in an MKV. It does subtitles and such, right? Or am I thinking of...
Yeah, thats why I just had theories. I dont have a decrypted copy of firmware to trace to find out if they did or not. I have no way to test my ideas yet, but when I can, I would like to have some ideas to look at or if someone else is looking for ideas to look into exploiting the Wii, a place for p...
So anyway, can we please get back on topic with other ideas of attacking the Wii? It's really a very interesting topic and I think a lot of people can benefit from our theories or speculation...
Yes because lockups and crashes are just bad planning... MKV is just a container, I'm sure someone will port mplayer or similar to the psp... Project L does exactly as you wanted, you really need to learn to google.... It's a saturn "emulator" for dreamcast trying to flip the byte order of...
As a note of red steel, I haven't played it, but poorly designed, porly executed, and poorly programmed are entirely different things. You can have a gave that plays like shit have no holes at all, and something like super mario galaxy be the one to allow this modification. casuals: Psh, go read so...
I dont know the details of the Wii's implementation, but from what I understand, keyboards use scan codes and over USB it is encapsulated in an HID packet, again I could be talking out of my ass since I have no idea how the Wii reads this. But anyway, when the keyboard sends data, it usually gets se...
I know it is old news... But what do you see coming out of this. What about support for those without drive chips? With the current state of the Wii, I figured it would be good to go over the recent hack and my own personal theories. If you haven't heard already, recently, there was an amazing hack ...
