Re: Zbattle Down Again - An Alternative in the Works
Hi I'm one of the old school member of zbattle.net as well as z-net when it first came out. Haven't visited zbattle in quite a while and it's sad to see that it's down. Don't know what happened to it but it's nice to see that the Z-net project is still alive. :) Your Z-Net forum links are not workin...

It only has one stick, 512MB PC133, Infineon. Why, I don't know, I didn't build this computer. But I tried switching the stick to another slot, and did some spring cleaning while I was at it by removing all the dust buildup inside the comp. I have Memtest from here: http://hcidesign.com/memtest/ and...

LOL @ ipod K, let's see. Safe mode didn't work. It looked like it was maybe gonna install but then it crashed about halfway at the file extraction phase (after you hit the Install button). I tried running Memtest for an hour while I was in Safe Mode and it didn't find any errors. I'm going to try ru...

The only anti-virus I have is Avast, but that's been disabled. Same thing with XP Firewall. I forgot to mention that this happened with Windows 2k too. Here's my process list: http://img297.imageshack.us/img297/7910/tm1hb2.th.jpg I don't have anything in Start --> Startup. Here's my msconfig startup...

It just wont install
The demo of FL Studio (version 7) just refuses to install on my computer. I keep getting one of two errors, either this: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7881/e1ij3.th.jpg or this: http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/4089/e2ot6.th.jpg It installs fine on the computer downstairs. Same exact shit wit...

Okay...I thought of something that happened with the first installation of SP2...I noticed that the installation hanged near the end and was taking forever. It took like 20 minutes to do the upgrade. I thought nothing of it and thought that's how long it's supposed to take. Well, today I installed S...

What am I supposed to do with that windows webpage link? I went to it before you linked it and it just confused me. It says to install SP2, but I did that before. With SP1 my atapi.sys file's version is 5.1.2600.1106, underneath the required number yet windows is showing 'full' size hard drive. With...

I got a new Seagate 300GB hard drive and XP Pro with Service Pack 2 is not recognizing the 'full' space. Let me give some background info as to how I arrived to this point. First, I installed Windows XP Pro SP1 on the new drive. The installation's partitioning section recognized the 'full' size (280...

Thanks I'll check VDMod out. Another thing, I think I remember reading in this topic that the newer zsnes versions can play .ZMV files from older versions of zsnes? Is there 100% compatibility? Because I've downloaded ipher's latest version of zsnesw (5/27) and it doesn't play my 1.36 movies correct...

Awesome features. Does anyone know a free windows program (with a GUI...) for editing of videos, or something that will let you merge an .mp3 file into the videos? I thought you could do this with VirtualDub, but it only lets you use WAV files (unless I'm wrong and there's some obscure feature I mis...

What's in ZMV?
What exactly is inside a ZMV file? Could it be considered a ROM game file, or is it just a list of ZSNES instructions?

It should check if it is possible to locally open the port (makes a simple echo connection) Which ports is it using? People have to port forward? Double click the textbox. Do you think typing the rom filename is worth? :? I think it might be a pain for some people if they have a ton of roms. An opt...

Okay, lets just agree to disagree, lol..... :) Anyway, here is a report for the frontend (I aint touching the command line tool, heh well at least not for now lol), although I'm not sure if 'bug' report are the right words: 1. Under the network tab, is it supposed to be reporting my Lan IP? I...

LoL Okay, first of all, I have loaded up the program and have looked through the read me file so you can stop with your assumptions. Second, why are you so defensive of the community part of it? What evil scheme are you planning, huh? LoL comon man, don't be a smartass with me. You can dress ZeNP wi...

The problem with zBattle is that it is closed source--no source code means that no one can improve it except the original author, who appears to have stopped working on it. Hopefully this project will be open source. Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. I didn't know the author stopped working ...

 Yet another ZSNES netplay connector? Is this actually any good, or is it just gonna fail like a week from now like all the other attempted ones? Honestly, don't people do research before they start a program like this up? There's already one successfull netplay connecter up (zbattle). The zsn...
