Major problem with zsnesw and snes9x

Post by larstommy123 »

I've been playing some of my old games on my laptop with snes9x and it's been really fun. However, since I've got my new computer, I've been able to use zsnesw and the HQ4X grafix, which are just stunning. Problem is, can't seem to find my saved states from snes9x on zsnesw.

Is there any way for me to either get the same good graphics on snes9x, or using my saved states on zsnesw.

I'd be very, very thankful if someone helped me out with this one.

you can always use the *.srm files
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

.00x files are save states, which are proprietary to Snes9x. Look for the .srm files if you have them - they work in every Snes emulator.

If you used purely save states and don't have any .srm files, then load them up in Snes9x, make a proper save in-game producing the .srm file. If the game had no in-game save feature, you'll need to re-do that game.

Went to nearest save-spot and got it down on the .srm file. It worked great. ZSNES can really make those games look good! Thanks for all the help, appreciate it!!

Some people consider any problem "major"... thus is the opinion of some posters (even though the reality is really different).
