Playing over Netplay with a fresh copy of the game

I was wondering if there is a way, without deleting your .srm file to play over Netplay a clean copy of the game without any information saved from prior games being played. I know most people complain they can't play without their saved state, but this question is the opposite!

From the netplay window, there is an option to use local SRAM, remote SRAM, or "NONE" (blank, no save data)
