Problem using Zsnes on my computer
Ok before telling you my problem here is my pc:
-700mhz
-128Mb
-GeForce 2
-Windows XP
the problem is:
when I open zsnes for the first time it works perfectly and all, I can configure all, sound, video... but when opening the emulator after configuration are saved I have no sound....(sound is fine in the first oppening)
In order to get the sound back I must delete all the configuration files and redo all the config every time I want to use zsnes.
(I use the latest version of zsnes, but I tried old version from olc cds I had and they all do the same...)
Please Help me I don't want to use Snes 9x!!

Unless the computer's have the same exact hardware (Mobo, cpu, graphics card, sound card, memory, etc.)... That is not a pretty good point.
Try downloading Zsnes Windows Version from here and report back:

I'm loading it now.
but the fact every other version had the same problem doesn,t that mean it will do the same too? I'll try anyway coz I hate SNES 9x sound syncronisation.
EDIT: Same thing again!
the emulator worked fine until I saved the configs and rebooted the emulator.....(BTW the screen was real messed at first....it was double and color were messed up, but it was fine after.)
I'm leaving for tonight....
If you got any solution try msning me or emailing me ge0rgesears@hotmail.com

No email/MSN
Please don't ask people to email you or MSN you or use method XYZ to contact you.The Frenchman wrote:it was double and color were messed up, but it was fine after.)

a) you may not be the only person who has this problem
b) if someone emails you, only that person and you knows the solution
c) it's considered rude to request someone to go out of their way for you
d) the message board has a "notify me when a reply is posted" option, so you can know (via email) if someone has responded. It's on by default.

Why won't you want someone to not contact them with *insert here* and help them? Is there a law forbidding that?jdratlif wrote:Please don't ask people to email you or MSN you or use method XYZ to contact you.The Frenchman wrote:it was double and color were messed up, but it was fine after.)

Re: No email/MSN
If there isn't a rule forbidding it, there should be. It's rude to ask people to go out of their way for you and then tell them you can't be bothered to check back for a reply on the message board you originally posted to.snkcube wrote: Why won't you want someone to not contact them with *insert here* and help them? It may not be in the stated rules, but I think it should be. Just my two cents...

And how are your two post going to help him? He was going to sleep. Anyway, if you don't want to send him an email or something, you just don't do it. Who knows, maybe someone will help him. I'm out of options, unless he keeps his files read-only. Maybe that's the problem.jdratlif wrote:If there isn't a rule forbidding it, there should be. Re: No email/MSN
They are not. I am simply stating that to request and email response is rude both to the people who have answers and to the other people who might have that same problem. It's my belief that a message board is intended to help the maximum number of people by reducing the amount of work.Joe Camacho wrote:And how are your two post going to help him? And as I mentioned, this is just my opinion. I don't care if you don't agree.
I simply think it is unfair to other people who might have the same question to have someone give an email response to a message board post. If you don't, then by all means, email him a response. And the next person who asks that question, and the next, and the next, ... ad infinitum.
