How to set ALL 3 Punch or Kick buttons to one key?

Post by weeklan »

Hi,

I'm playing Street Fighter Alpha 2 on the Zsnes and I was wondering if it's possible to set all 3 keys (for example: with Street fighter, all 3 punch or kick buttons) to a single key?

My friend said it was possible but he couldn't get it to work when he was showing me ( :? ) but anyway if it is indeed possible can somebody here tell me how to do it please? I've tried in the Misc > Key Combination Editor but I cant get it to work.

Why would you want to do that? It doesn't even make sense to do what you're suggesting.

Have you played Street Fighter...?

Does anybody know how it's done?

Of course I want to be able to use 3 individual keys also, but I also want to set 3 of them for one key, so I dont need to press all 3 at the same time. It's pretty straight forward. :?

I don't play this game often enough to remember. Street Fighter 2 doesn't have such a feature.. only Street Fighter 2 Alpha... sometimes it is better to remind people WHY you want it (better than keeping us guessing).

As for the key combinations.. you will have to experiment yourself. The clasic use for this is for the L+R+A option for Chrono Trigger.. for what I do is assign the key to say Q... goto the line that says "Press Only" and select L, R, and A.. perhaps check Game Specific (assuming I have CT already loaded)... and then click on the Add button. So when I reach that certain point that people normally bitch about.. I hit the Q button and I'm on my way.

That's a simple quick way of using it. It looks harder than it is, but it really isn't too bad.

Deathlike2: It makes doing some moves easier, like teleportations or super moves.

Stifu, I remember the reason for the combo key feature was for.. I forgot why you would bind those buttons like that (if he mentioned custom combos, I would've remembered better)
