[ZsnesW0907]we can't see more than 39characters in Load Menu
Hi,
by exemple, i try to load: Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Past (F).smc
i only see: Legend of Zelda, The - A Link to the Pa
The problem: I get a lot a Roms with names up to 39 characters, i keep these names because they come from GoodSnes.
is it fixable ?
nb: sorry for my poor English... i'am French.

so you have many different roms that are all now named (whatever that says) or you have 20 copies of zelda 3?
It is my job to teach the dumb.

here's the solution. if you have windows 98, simply double click the zelda whatever.smc, a box will open up asking which application you want to use. click browse, and go to the folder with zsnesw in it. now whenever you want to play a rom, simply double click the file.
if you have windows xp, the only way I found to do this is to make a .bat file, and inside you put
@echo off
start /DC:\30gig~1\emulation\snes\zsnesw zsnesw_wip1206.exe %1
the 'start /d' tells it what directory to begin in, so maybe yours could be like 'start /dc:\zsnes zsnesw.exe'
so make a file called zsnesw.bat, and inside put these two lines:
@echo off
start /dc:\emulation\zsnes zsnesw.exe %1
make sure to leave a space between the colder name and the executable's name.

Pointless and painful, as most french translations are just horrible.cdbsi wrote:Why not?It's cool to play the game as it was in different regions to see how it differs. Even though it is pointless to even do so.
The next time I see 'Trap' translated as 'Trappe' in a game I'll hunt down the localization team.

Oh yeah, I know what you mean, like playing a japanese, an european and a american game to see the diference, but come on! Those are too many!cdbsi wrote:Why not?Joe Camacho wrote:WTF!?
Why do you have so many Zeldas? I mean... No.. I just don't get it.It's cool to play the game as it was in different regions to see how it differs. Even though it is pointless to even do so.
