So because for some reason SNES9x refuses to correctly play the SD3 that I downloaded (The text is all scrunched together and missing letters and generally being unreadable) I got myself ZSNES.
The game works and everything but while trying to program my Logitech USB controller it doesn't let me apply any of the d-pad keys to my directionals and only keyboard buttons.
Everything else programmed itself fine which is why I'm curious that this is happening.
If anyone knows how to enable the diagonals or something please let me know.

Sounds like SNES9x can't display hi-res screens correctly. Try the latest build from ipherswipsite.com and make sure the emulator window / screen mode is at least 512x448.BananaPeel wrote:So because for some reason SNES9x refuses to correctly play the SD3 that I downloaded (The text is all scrunched together and missing letters and generally being unreadable) I got myself ZSNES.

Dude, unless you're using Unix (or can use VMware, Virtual PC2k4, orsmth to get damn small linux running it in it at least) don't even touch the latest Snes9X.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

If you're using a joypad, don't use diagonals. Diagonals in ZSNES are only two simple directions assigned to one button, to solve the problem of some keyboards not letting you press many keys at once. They don't serve any purpose for a joypad.

There is an open source PC emulator called bachs. Just thought I'd mention that for the financially deprived.adventure_of_link wrote:Dude, unless you're using Unix (or can use VMware, Virtual PC2k4, orsmth to get damn small linux running it in it at least) don't even touch the latest Snes9X.
