Release: Treasure of the Rudras v2.00

Three years to the day after the initial release of an admittedly rather spotty translation of Squaresoft’s “Rudra no Hihou” the new version is ready! It includes quite a few improvements, including a fully variable-width font for the dialogues, a brand new and wonderfully written script, a redone opening sequence and extra letters for enemy names. The real star of the show is the script, though! It’s been fantastically cared for by M of Returner Games, whose work on Front Mission: Gun Hazard you may already be familiar with.

This patch is an almost completely new animal, and if you ever thought at all that the writing might’ve seemed a little flat in the old version, be sure to give this one a try!

I remember grinvader creating "Bwahahahaha" and "Assrape".

Assrape wasn't very effective, IIRC.

I remember doing quite well with BWAHAHAHAHAHA, nice spell which did ~100 dmg with low MP consumption.

In the last zsnes wip version, the rudra's patch 2.00 don't work. The screen becomes black and only the sound works.

This patch is very enjoyable.

Although I did find an issue with a mantra chest (the single ally power up one, iirc) - there's only one ?, so i just inscribed all 26 spells, and none ended as a power up... oh well, not that I would have used it, anyway.
It's in Surlent's early scenario (before day 4) iirc... maybe the volcano one ?

Err, maybe... I did both at the same time (as usual)...
But I'm positive it's for power up single ally, before day 4, single ? in the mantra hint.
