ZSNES 03/29 WIP Breaks Increment Frame...

Post by MasaMuneCyrus »

I didn't mention it until now because I figured it would eventually get fixed; however, since it hasn't been fixed yet, since it's such a little-used feature, I figured I'd mention it incase you guys didn't know about it.

the ZSNES 03/29 WIP breaks the increment frame feature in all forms, whether it be just "INCR FRAME ONLY" or "SNAPSHOT/INCR FRM". If you take a look at it, the symptoms are pretty obvious, but incase you don't feel like taking a look, basically, what happens is that when you 'increment frame', the sound plays for one frame, but the picture doesn't move. If you increment frame again, the sound plays for another frame, but the picture doesn't move. Do it again, and the same thing happens. But on the fourth increment frame, the image finally changes to reflect the frame that the game is on. I would say that this is just a small graphical glitch, however, if you do the "SNAPSHOT/INCR FRM" option, the snapshots reflect exactly what you see. In otherwords, you'll have 3 identical frames, and on the fourth picture, the snapshot will have skipped the two frames that you've missed.

You're using an old WIP version. Did you try using the lastest WIP version?

This has already been taken care of. Wait for the next WIP.. or use ZGet. There is a zget specfic thread you can use the search feature for.

I'm a bit late in saying this, but I was not using an old WIP at the time; however, I am using the latest SVN release and it works fine.

Well... You posted this on the 6th of July, and the WIP of the 27th of May was out at the time.
