Attempting to play the wonderful old rpg game chrono trigger, ive come to a section where i must enter a certain key combination as a password to continue. I have to press the L A R A keys in order, however, upon pressing the first one the game makes the "you did something bad" sound. Sometimes i make it to the second keystroke if i whack the buttons fast. And sometimes it makes a "you did something right" sound followed by the "you did something bad" sound and i fail the task anyway.
Earlier in the game was a section where combinations of 2 button presses had to be done. this took an inordinate amount of tries for such a simple task. if i am not careful i also tend to scroll through menus, dialogue trees, etc in other games with a single keystroke.
This coupled with the unbeleivably high mouse scroll speed inside the zsnes window compared to my desktop, i wondered if perhaps when i press my L button (d on the keyboard), zsnes is picking up LLLLLLLLLLL. Is there some way to slow this down, through zsnes or perhaps with some other keyboard or controller?
Or is this just a problem with the game i am running?
