Chatting During Netplay ... in Non-Western Languages

Post by Master O »

1) I know the Zsnes developers will probably never do this, but would it be possible to add language support to Zsnes, so people could talk in non-western languages during netplay?

(If this was already done, ignore this question)

2) Also, as far as Western Languages go, does Zsnes support typing out letters like like ñ and é when chatting in netplay?

I think bad emulation that will be ignored...

I'm pretty sure that it still just supports common western symbols.

The answer is very unlikely unless many things are redone internally.

I would actually think this is more related to keyboard inputs rather than a translated GUI.
In other words, even the English version of ZSNES could support that, in my opinion.

When you compound the keyboard inputs issue (scancode->displayed char), that makes this rather annoying.

However, this gave me a crazy idea.

Oh no, a crazy idea.... What have I indirectly done?
