Thank You List
I think some of the entries from the Thanks section on the Credits page are showing their age. For starters, for example, MaxSt isn't listed in there, but Kreed is. I was wondering if any recent contributors could be added in there (perhaps also those who have been discovering new info about the SNES and how it works, etc.). Does anyone have any further suggestions to help update that section to the new era of SNES emulation?
I think Credits.htm needs a bit of an overhaul in general. First, I think it'd be nice to add a short description after some of the people in the Developers / Contributers / Doc Writers section, describing what the person does or contributes.
Also, I think the Developers section needs an update. zsKnight and _Demo_ stay at the top, for sure. We should also move grinvader and ipher up to the developers section. pagefault, Nach, grinvader and ipher comprise the current active developers, and should be recognized as such.
Are there any lines in the Special Thanks / Also Thanks sections that are obsolete or outdated?

The NSRT team needs to be thanked for JMA. My team put a lot of work into that; writing code, getting portability worked out, fixing bugs, bug testing...xamenus wrote:That is precisely what I'm wondering. Some new stuff could probably be added, too (Igor Pavlov for JMA comes to mind, though that may be strictly NSRT related).Jipcy wrote:Are there any lines in the Special Thanks / Also Thanks sections that are obsolete or outdated?
Although would be nice if I finished the new version of JMA which is extremely faster.

I need some suggestions from current developers on how I shoudl re-design the Credits.htm page. Here's what I have so far:
With the "Thanks" list lower down, I was thinking about putting the ZSNES version number in which the person was first thanked. Any thoughts on this?
Code: Select all
Founding Developers (no longer active)
* zsKnight
* _Demo_
Current Developers
* pagefault
* Nach
* grinvader
* ipher
Past Developers
* Pharos

I'm not so sure where to put _Demo_ since he's still around.
If I really need his help with something, and pester him about it enough, he'll help out.
Like last year I was having some issues with integrating S-DD1 and he came and saved the day.

Well, perhaps I'll just remove the (no longer active) part after Founding Developers. How's everything else look?

Added, not yet committed. It's under the Thanks/"Also Thanks To:" section. Move the line if you think it should be somewhere else.Nach wrote:The NSRT team needs to be thanked for JMA.
EDIT: Committed.

On the to do list. Sorry about the delay. I'm not sure exactly when it will get done.

You can give me a suggestion of what to put there. Grinvader's description is his own doing.
