[Feature Request] Close Rom/ Power OFF

Post by crocomire »

Many emulators have this option (VBA, KEGA and others), is possible to implement it to ZSNES in future versions?

This has been requested before, and until someone can come up with a convincing argument for the point in this, it won't even be considered.

This feature request is also known as "Is it too difficult to close ZSNES?".

I find it very handy. this way I can have multiple emulators open all the time (and minimized) while in their 'rom closed' state opposed to their 'program closed' state. I wish internet explorer had a 'website close' feature.

Even bsnes has it, so you won't be accused of feature bloat. :)

Kega Fusion has that. It's neat. :o
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

If you have a video capture card with coaxial input and an antenna attached to it, bsnes tunes channel 3 when you use the power off/unload ROM option. Speaking of which, I still need to add a toggle between channels 3 and 4.

That's awesome. Also, your avatar/website background... it's Li from Card Captor Sakura, isn't it? I can't quite tell by face alone.

Anyway, what's wrong with just pressing Escape and leaving it in the menu? It worked for Final Fantasy on my NES.

I love that snow. All it needs is the sound effect to make it complete. ;)

Yes the option is needed. Also you need the option added to force the television to channel 2 and set the SNES to channel 4, so you can play the games in black and white (note this doesn't seem to work everywhere).

For that, make a shortcut on the shortcut bar, about:blank. Although I suppose it won't use much less ram.

Channel 3 is preferable.
