Another hint (bites the dust):

Hint#2: Outgun your opponent while you hide behind the moving ostacles to avoid his lasers.Collect powerups and fry his ass with the Big F***** Laser :)

and here's another (bonus) game to spice up the stew:

Game #2 : A great side-scrolling NES shmup from Capcom,one of a kind.
