It does. Just not WPA networks.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

i concur. is this the part where you laud the psp with it's amazing network capabilities and amazing library with which to make use of it?

So what? It don't support networks that require a web based authorization either. Thats why N came out with the little WiFi usb adapter.

So they made there network support suck so they could force me into buying another $40 device that I shouldnt even need because I already have wifi in my house and every other fucking device supports it. Even the wii supports it so what the hell. Good job nintendo, good job.

Yeah, it's really fucking irritating. You can just switch to WEP though. Use MAC address filtering if you're scared about it being cracked - almost all cheap ass routers (linksys, my Westell that came with Verizon DSL...) support it just by going to 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

You can always buy a third-party USB soft AP, they're cheaper than the Nintendo one and work with everything.

His point, though valid, is that he shouldn't have to pay extra to use its intended features.
I agree, but (a few people) complaining gets nowhere.

DS wifi is limited to 2mbps which sucks but its not like the harware can use all that. in dslinux all i can get is about 150KB/s. Works great for browsing forums and posting in them, as well as irc and i even got streaming audio to work quite well.

Yeah, the transmission rate was limited to conserve power. It's sufficient for most purposes.
Speaking of DSLinux, how is retawqs progressing? I've been meaning to install DSLinux, but I've been lazy.
