iPod power adapter

Post by lockharte »

I got a iPod from my uncle, but I noticed the box didn't come with a power adapter. now is this an oversight on the manufacturer's part, or do some models of iPods don't come with an adapter and you have to buy one separately.

Prior to the generation 5 iPod's, they did come with a power adaptor. Now they recharge from your USB port. If you want one now, you have to purchase one separately.

ipods are also more expensive. larger hdd, longer battery life, video playback, larger screen, smaller form factor.

another reason they took it out. and it's possible that they weren't being that widely used.

I want an actual power adapter for my ipod , I charge mine with USB if I'm updating songs , or if I put on my RoadTrip in the car

I've had my ipod video since they came out , but I just never bought a wall charger , oh well

Most of the AC chargers don't even have a cord. They're just a wallwart adaptor with a USB adaptor on it for you to plug your docking cable into. I got one with my iPod for Christmas. I (politely) told my mom to take it back because I didn't need it. She took her's back too and saved $40.
