64 bit?

Post by atatassault »

I read the FAQ, and Im not requesting 64 bit support. Rather I want to know the vaguries of it. By year's end I intend to have a new computer with a Intel Core 2 duo and 64 bit Windows Vista.

Can you run 32 bit applications on a 64 bit system, or can only 64 bit applications be run?

You can certainly run 32-bits apps on a 64-bit OS.

This holds true as long as all the 32 bit libraries are installed.

With Windows, 32 bit libraries are should be installed on 64 bit installs, so don't worry about it.
