Some flames are justifiable. I'm not sure what you are considering as "flaming" anyways. The simple reason why you are being picked on is because you put yourself on the Internet. If you didn't show your own mug, the thread probably would continue on its merry way. Seriously, this is the reality you put yourself in.

"Good god you are ugly" Is what started all this, before that, this thread was doing fine. I find that to be flame bait only, as soul would clearly understand it wasn't a "serious" picture (unless his IQ really IS below 80.) The reason he had for flaming me when I had done nothing at all to provoke it remains a mystery. and when you say "Put yourself in those situations".. do you mean expressing my opinion that are in many cases not shared by most people? Just because my opinion might be different doesn't mean you need to flame me for it, I'm seriously growing tired of it, we COULD have creative discussions instead you know, but throwing poop at each other is more fun, yes?

Well.. I wouldn't care if it happened now and then.. but you know? It happens in ALL the threads I make.. and always by the very same individuals. THAT'S what bothers me about it. And this time its even worse, I didn't say anything to offend anyone, I didn't have any scary opinions, All I did was posting a picture of myself where its clear I'm looking monkey-like on purpose. but it obviously still had to be made fun of in personal attacks on me. THAT is what makes me think this whole thing is starting to suck so bad..
when it happens, people are so poor rethoricaly they allways do PERSONAL ATTACKS rather than attacking the statement, but I guess I should be happy I'm a pedagogic genius compared to them, because I never insult people unless they start first.
I was thinking for awhile if this goes on, If I'm being trashed in all the threads of the board, and even off the board (they do it on IRC too) I'm going to leave all this and not post anymore on the board, but thats what they want I guess.. so just to annoy them I will stay, even though it sucks that I can't say or do anything at all now a days without being jumped on.

real mature attitude dude, makes you sound kind of like a jackass. You are right though, they do go a bit overboard, but I think this is simply because you react.

Anyways, don't take this as a personal attack, just some advise, learn to roll with the punches and they'll get bored of picking on you.

Think of it this way, they must really like you if they like to joke and mock up pictures of you for pages upon pages
