Just a little bit of advice, be very lucky with Vista. Why? Because Microsoft have implemented something in its Anti-Spyware program which they can control and delete perfectly pirated files at will. It is Nintendo's policy, after all, that no ROM images shall ever be on computers or you will be prosecuted. Glad I knew that
Windows XP all the way! Woot!

Well, he's gullible then. You can't always trust what you read on the intarweb anyways.Deathlike2 wrote:No. The problem is actually he believes everything he said here.snkcube wrote:Another person with a broken sarcasm detector....Cool_Hylian wrote:Just a little bit of advice, be very lucky with Vista. that's why I removed vista. I had a zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) folder with roms, and one day the roms were gone!

Strange... it's worked perfectly for me on vista for about a month or so... until I accidentally chose a resolution larger than my laptop display can handle, so now all I get is a black screen. Games still load, I just don't see anything. I can change the resolution, I just can't apply it. Is there a keyboard shortcut that will apply the new resolution (considering I have no idea where the apply button would be) or would I have to set some launch options to force a different resolution?
...............[/derail]
edit: I fixed it! I went into the data file and changed it there. yay! Although I am still curious why you can't just hit enter to apply the new resolution setting from within the gui.

I don't know about you, but for the several months I had Vista, ZSNESw runs fine except for resolution changes, because it takes too long for resolution changes and the timer times out and reverts.
