Stability Problems
I don't know why this happens but when I run my bit torrent client uTorrent (microtorrent) it eventually causes my firewall (Zonealarm) to crash due to a memory error.
I thought perhaps my ram is damaged but after running it for hours in Memtest it showed no errors at all. So as it first seemed uTorrent seems to be the problem but I can't just replace it with another torrent client which doesn't cause this problem because I'm a member of a private torrent community which very few torrent clients work on and uTorrent is my best option.
Is there a way to fix this stability problem? Here is the type of error I get:

If no one knows a way around this, please recommend a solid firewall, one at least equal to zonealarm... that firewall hasn't let me down even once even though I know it's not exactly great.
If there isn't another firewalls along the lines of zonealarm I'll have to use that java crap Azureus.

I know a BT client can make ZA5 (and prolly higher) come to a screeching halt if there's too much traffic , it'll freeze up the computer and stop your internet traffic , then you gotta reset or stop your internet source , ZA4 wont do this , but ZA4 and 64bit CPUs can cause problems

I do have a router but I usually don't use it because I have no idea how it's fruity security is supposed to work, if at all... that and a second computer is rarely used at the same time for internet access.
Also when I use the router, no matter what kind of pass I put (WEP or any other kind) it doesn't work for some unknown reason when I try to connect from the other computer. So whenever 2 computers need internet access at the same time the network is left without a password. I checked the website and it's instructions and I had done everything correctly so I called the manufacturers up and they basically to me to fuck off in a thick indian accent.
It's not rocket science, I type in my IP in the browser, I setup everything in the options, I set up the network on the other side and it works... just not with a password.

make sure you have this applied. Then stop using zone-alarm, its purely alarmist software
try Kerio Personal Firewall, much better product. never had an issue with utorrent.
tho if you are leeching more than a handful of torrents, you shouldn't be using a software firewall. if that other machine is just sitting there, use it as the router, just throw another nic into it.

Does [Kevin] Smith masturbate with steel wool too?
- Yes, but don’t change the subject.

That site says the patch increases the half open connetion limit from 10 to 50 but when I try patching it, it asks me if I want to change the limit to 10.
And yes I usually have a shitload of torrents downloading at once and also quite a lot uploading too. Despite my download limit being 800 something kbps my upload limit seems to be 60, bah. And what's a nic supposed to be?

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?
