I don't know if Metal Warriors would count as a fighting game because you move around in a maze like sitting while trying to beat the snot out of each other. It's like Gundam Wing except you have power ups and stuff, and you can get out of your mech if your opponent is beating you too badly. I wouldn't suggest that though your opponent might try to beat you out of your suit.

As SNK mentioned they really don't measure up to Hyper Dimension and the last time I checked not all of them had proper translations. DBZ SB3 had just one complete english translation and it was messed up with french crammed in here and there not to mention it was a screwy patch which was meant for PAL versions of the ROM. Even the translation on Hyper Dimension is horrible with the text all messed up but at least it's completely in english.adventure_of_link wrote:Dragonball Z: Super Butoden 1 and 2

Anyway I recommmend Killer Instinct and DBZ Hyper Dimension, those games were hours of fun. KI is one of those games where the emulated version doesn't exactly measure up to the real thing (I still have mine stashed away) but still is fun nonetheless.

Isn't that true for most fighting games that debut in the arcade first?SquareHead wrote:KI SNES don't measure up to the arcade that spawned it.Cyrus wrote:KI is one of those games where the emulated version doesn't exactly measure up to the real thing (I still have mine stashed away) but still is fun nonetheless.
