Was KI Gold a different game? I thought it was similar to Street Fighter 2 (insert extension here), in that it was a tweaked version of the same game.SquareHead wrote:Yeah, I'm just irritated that thyy ported it period, wasnt it supposed to hit 64 instead of that KI Gold? Killer Instint Gold was a port of the arcade II game, they said it was "GOLD" because it had extra stuff, or something. But never paid that much attention to both games.Gil_Hamilton wrote:Was KI Gold a different game? I loved the KI port, in some ways I felt it was more fast paced than the arcade version (which I play emulated). The arcade version was more visually stunning, though.
The Power Rangers game was alright, but I feel it is just a botched version of GW: ED.
Primal Rage port felt very short, because it was heavily censored.
KI2/KIG were okay. They don't fare well against the original, but they are still playable.
Mortal Kombat series (at least during the digitized era) blow hard. All the characters are fucking stiff, and the only pleasure on them are the fatalities and crap.
Tmnt: TF was pretty good for what it was. I liked the bgm on Aska scenario.
I would recommend snk games, but they blow in comparison to the neogeo versions.
Also
mutherfucking Super Punch Out!
