Hell Yes! Improved traction in rain and snow is worth the price alone. With the modern gear based LSDs available today, you won't loose traction unless both of your drive wheels are spinning.
Oh wait.. you mean the drug?
Pfft.

I think this statement could be successfully applied to marijuana much sooner than to LSD.Neo Kaiser wrote:It needs more research. It must be useful for something medical.

I disagree, marijuana already has years of research backing its usefulness in various areas of medicine. LSD got a bad rep in the 60's and it has been impossible to run clinical trials with it since. We have next to no idea what it's good for.Jipcy wrote:I think this statement could be successfully applied to marijuana much sooner than to LSD.Neo Kaiser wrote:It needs more research. The people who started the clinical trials (Dr. Humphry Osmond, who coined the term "psychedelic", and Dr. Duncan Blewett) have never been happy with the actions of Timothy Leary. I've seen a couple documentaries on these guys, but I can't remember the names...casualsax3 wrote:LSD got a bad rep in the 60's and it has been impossible to run clinical trials with it since.
As for lsd, well, let's just say it put me years ahead in algebraic topology

And wrong ! we have quite a lot of data on it, a decent amount if I may say so. From the top of my head I remember the serotonin/dopa activator effect, making it helpful for people with neurodegenerative diseases.casualsax3 wrote:We have next to no idea what it's good for.
Even the damn wiki has a pretty nice list of stuff it affects. Under a rock very yes ?

We know it has uses, particularly with depression, but we don't know much beyond that.
Here in the real world testing has been absurdly limited, but it's finally coming back:

Winners don't abuse drugs, and know how to enjoy them. Recreational or more spiritual drug use are both things that can greatly improve your life.

I know that they are used by shamans and people who practice magical rituals to see the ethereal realm from ages. However people nowadays use them to escape from reality and shit or because they can't have fun without them or simply they are too emotional and can't remove the stress easily. I had seen a strong barrier created from society who don't want these people near them and go as far as deny their existence. In other words people who will try to stay as far as possible from a person who use drugs even recreational. If marijuana is over proven to be more beneficial than damaging then I'm all in favor of it's legalization and the same goes to LSD. So what do you think about their legalizations?casualsax3 wrote:Nonsense. Losers fear and don't use drugs, or lack self control and ruin their lives.

I'll trust more an 90's arcade cabinet over a random internet person any day.casualsax3 wrote:Nonsense. Losers fear and don't use drugs, or lack self control and ruin their lives.
