I am concerned about seeing this implemented for browsers though - imagine looking at art or photography through this algorithm…it would be a nightmare for a lot of artists and art lovers alike.

Plus it would be rather cpu intensive having to do this to every picture on a page.blackmyst wrote:I am concerned about seeing this implemented for browsers though - imagine looking at art or photography through this algorithm…it would be a nightmare for a lot of artists and art lovers alike.
Could a feature like this be implemented into real time video or emulators?

Sorry, but why the hell would you do something like that to a movie, let alone a game where it impacts actual function? It's questionable enough as it is when applied to still pictures.clessoulis wrote:Plus it would be rather cpu intensive having to do this to every picture on a page.blackmyst wrote:I am concerned about seeing this implemented for browsers though - imagine looking at art or photography through this algorithm…it would be a nightmare for a lot of artists and art lovers alike.

Gotta say though, it does look like a pretty neat toy.

Also on anime it would be so much easier to go back and preform this process instead of redrawning the whole series.

I could see it being useful for things like home movies, when your filming your family and some fat cheeto eating fuck such as myself wanders through frame. "Hey look, there you theres me and theres that manatee."blackmyst wrote:Sorry, but why the hell would you do something like that to a movie, let alone a game where it impacts actual function? I admit, I laughed. I'm such a terrible person.SquareHead wrote:I could see it being useful for things like home movies, when your filming your family and some fat cheeto eating fuck such as myself wanders through frame.
