Well, I meant I have all Nintendo machines, including Famicom and SUper Famicom (which where actually pretty popular over here)... that's how I found out about the horrible post-burn surgery that GoldenFighter (aka Ultimate Fighter in the US) suffered when it came to America. Never was underwear-over-our-pants heroes so ridiculous.

I have a PlayStation and a PSone, and that's as far as my Sony consoles go. Im not buying the PS2 for Final Fantasy (cause it sucks anyway) and the PS3 is just filled with too much cliché.

My XBox is barely functional since the hard-disk failure and I'm not eager to buy the 360. Maybe when Halo 3 comes out, MAYBE...

On the other hand, I do own a Nichiman, and three other unnameable consoles from Japan, one of them is a Bandai piece of SHIT which doesn't really work... I think it's because you can only play online.

No loss there.
The VB is a damn fine system.
If anyone would've actually given it a CHANCE instead of immediatly decrying it as a red Gameboy that melts eyes, they might've noticed.

You want a system that never should've been born, check the GameBoy Color. It's a half-assed hack to the original, highly dated, GameBoy, and was never intended to be anything more than a stopgap to keep the NeoGeo Pocket and WonderSwan from gaining traction while Nintendo whipped up the GBA(which isn't half the system it COULD have been had Nintendo not been caught with their pants down when the competition showed up.. Especially sound-wise. There's nothing "advance" about that.).

Have you played one before? The wario land game on the system rocks, and mario tennis is pretty fun too. I bought one when they were going off the market, brand new for $20, and got 10 games for $2 each. For that price I'm glad I got it.

If it's a piece of shit it's even better! You've got no idea how much I want a Phillips CD-i JUST to also add the barely recognizable Nintendo franchises there.

It's NOT bad for your eyes.
There was a SLIGHT possibility it could interfere with a child's development of depth perception.

Bad for your back IF you sit too high, maybe.

And yes, if you drop it, it breaks. Guess what, a LOT of stuff does!

It has ONE technical flaw: The display refreshes at 50Hz(Why, hello PAL!).
At high brightness levels, this can cause problems. But if you turn the brightness down, the flicker ceases to be perceptible.

Problem is the VB ISN'T a piece of shit. It is a damn fine piece of hardware that deserved far better than it got.

I don't get it, I played the VB for hours in stores and never did I get headaches or have my eyes feel weird. The position was awkward but that was because it was in a store and not adjusted to my hight.

I remember playing the Virtual Boy as a kid a while back. I think it was a Wario Land game, which I thought was very enjoyable. Now if only I can try it out once again.
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

It's been a while, but I did get Wario Land running, which is the important thing. It's really a great game.

I still have my big gameboy that I bought when they were brand new, I usually had a bad habit of never gettin rid of my gaming stuff , so I own nearly every console that hit US shores (plus a couple that hasnt) , still missing a PS3 but I'm in no rush for that... luckily AT&T is sendin me a $300 best buy gift card because of their promotion that they had goin on when I got another plan...
Do you have a Turbo 16 Graphics? (PC Engine). I only know 1 person who have it. BTW I agree about the Wario game that came with the VB that the game was awesome.
Yes I know that my grammar sucks!

TurboGrafX 16.
And the VB came with Mario Tennis, not Wario Land.

some games are just more interesting with the system rather than emulator. Wario Land, and Mario Clash were desent, don't know if I played much else back in the day.

you guys are all talking BS.

this may interest people on the original question in this topic.

it's a wireless classic controller from a third party. it is hidious but the interesting thing is that it plugs into the gamecube port. This makes me wonder if it can be detected as a gamecube pad for gamecube games or not. It would be cool if it did. Also I wonder if it has rumble? probably not.
