yeah I ordered mine the day it was released and my wii was flashing blue, but they are apparently way back ordered. I think it's gay though that you can get 1 to 4 if you have a Wii because I have 5 Wiimotes and yet I can still only get 4 covers and I bet there are a bunch of people with only 1 wiimote but they are ordering up 4, which is causing the backorder issue.

still, interesting, I'm getting them just to check out the comfort factor.

Yeah my college website is bad like that too.

The reason I have 5 wiimotes is because when I got my system someone got me 3 other ones for 4 player. They didn't know that I was going t get Wii Play which came with a controller though, but it all works out because I use that controller for virtual console and don't have to switch the plugs a lot or anything.

I am interested in Thrustmaster's new wireless gamecube controller when it comes out. It has the button scheme of a classic controller (roughly) and is being marketed as a wii classic controller but it plugs into the gamecube port and plays gamecube games and I'm pretty sure if a game didn't support a gamecube pad it wouldn't support it. The true test would be to see if it operates on the wii menu, if it is a "true classic controller" you would be able to manipulate the menu with it but if it is a gamecube pad you would not be able to.

Still it is a wireless solution (although you'd still have to navigate menues with the wii mote) with rumble, programmable keys, slow and turbo, and battery life akin to the wiimote they say.

here's the website

http://www.thrustmaster.com/product.asp ... tformID=10

it's called the T-Wireless NW and I know I'm getting one when it comes out so I can play smash bros brawl wirelessly but WITH rumble.

They said it was going to take a while to get here, almost like 6-9 weeks.
I ordered four because I have four wii-motes. Hopefully they will get here soon.

I ordered mine the day of and I think they still don't even have them restocked, they really should try to get a lot of em out by the Galaxy launch because I'm sure they are going to be in the visual displays in the manual and the game.

EDIT: well son of a, I just checked my status at Nintendo.com and it's actually shipped, for the longest time they were just out of stock but you should check your status at Nintendo and see if yours have been shipped yet or not. If they have been it shouldn't take TOO long.

sweetness, you must have been on the ball in getting them ordered post haste, or you got lucky and were in the right place for fast shipping.
