Key Comb. = disable other input. updated? fix?

Key Comb. = disable other input. updated? fix?
Apparently when you define a key combination, all other input is disabled for as long as that button is held. Was there ever a way around this or maybe has it been improved after version 1.43?

I'm not experiencing the problem. There's a chance you are hitting a button that is also used in a pressed state of the key comb, which by definition should not do anything extra. (In other words, if your key comb holds down the "A" button and you hit the "A" button on the keyboard, nothing should happen).
The fact that it sounds like you are not testing this on 1.50 or later is disappointing.
Feel free to post an example if you feel that it is not working.
