Beat Chrono Trigger without paying for anything (except 9900 for Jerky, unless you don't want to pay for that either), and using no items but shelters.

I never really like buying anything or spending items in RPGs. Chrono Trigger is not a hard game at all, and I have gone through without even using tabs, or any other item in that matter.

<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

I pounded Lavos at the ocean palace, yesGil_Hamilton wrote:You pounded Lavos in the Ocean Palace?
Or do you mean Crono alone VS Lavos?
and took on Lavos using Marle/Nadia and Crono (unless there IS a way to get Crono to take on Lavos singlehandedly)

Go into the wrong telepod while demoing the machine for Lucca, if I recall.adventure_of_link wrote:I pounded Lavos at the ocean palace, yesGil_Hamilton wrote:You pounded Lavos in the Ocean Palace?

It's quite possible. I've done it before, though I found it to be unfun.

Let Crono die as much as possible, then ditch him out once you get 3 other chars, then new game +, then let marle get sucked in the vortex before stripping and jumping in the second portal.adventure_of_link wrote:(unless there IS a way to get Crono to take on Lavos singlehandedly)
Fun.

When I did use them, it was on Ayla to max her speed an PWN Lavos' Carcass. Its actually fun to see just the head standing there. Her final attack randomly deals insane (9999) dmg, ignoring defense.Joe Camacho wrote:Not even speed tabs on Robo?corronchilejano wrote:I never really like buying anything or spending items in RPGs.
