Post-retro Nes music

Post by Snark »

I don't think it's a new concept, but interesting nevertheless.

Videogames music remade on older systems

For example Castlevania: Portrait of Ruins's "Invitation of a Crazed Moon" on the Nes:

Pretty good considering the system's limitations imo.

I've had that site bookmarked for a while.

IMO, his Chrono Trigger remixes are good starting points.

World Revolution and Corridor of Time
Both have the Famicom as a target system.

If you want impressive, look for one of the MSX+SCC remixes. That was a neat sound combo.

Holy crap, nice find there Snark. I like the Castlevania one you posted, since I played that one a whole lot when I first got it.

Well, convenience certainly helps. Especially since he does so many different formats.

think he meant only one old enough to buy alcohol and drive...

but he's really drunk considering I know a few on here can legally buy alcohol (including me)... unless you're in mexico

I think him saying that everyone on the board is below the age of 21 is actually a ZBoard joke, not a product of his drunkeness.

(sudo -undrunk)

Heh. Sorry about any misunderstandings. I meant I'm 21 and figured that everyone was below the legal age of driving anyway (drunken revelation I guess)

edit b.o.t: Yeah, would like to have the nsfs.
