bsnes problem

Okay, downloaded bsnes, opened it up. Decided to screw around with the video settings. This is where it gets hazy, I pressed something that said "5x", and it just dissappeared. I am still able to see it in the tray, but it does not actually show up. I have deleted it, re-downloaded, and it still doesn't work, can anyone help?

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\.bsnes

delete that folder.
