Does Jurassic Park use the mode 7?
Some people on a different forum were having a lengthy discussion about whether the game uses the mode 7 or not during the fps scenes inside the buildings. I think it doesn't given what the mode 7 is, but I heard the contrary, so I'm confused. What's the final word on it, supported with solid evidence ?
why waste your time with such a stupid topic? there's more important things in this world to talk about than some old ass shitty game for the snes. important things like what color of socks I'm wearing.
p.s. just so I don't keep you in suspense, I'm wearing white socks.

it does.
but only because it allows for 256 color "pseudo bitmapped" graphics, not for reasons like what say, Pilotwings, uses it for. The scene is drawn in vertical strips from left to right (raycasting).
when you're in first person mode, in zsnes you can press the 1-5 keys to turn off different background layers. There's only one background layer 1. The "goggle" border is actually made entirely of sprites! (Press 5 to enable and disable sprites).

I'd always assumed it didn't just because the mode 7 "3D acceleration" was completely useless in an indoor setting.
