GBA emulator for DS
does one exist? Like, one I could run off of R4, without having anything in my GBA slot? I've been looking a bit

Why would you need an emu if the GBA games are directly supported by the DS? AFAIK, there are some things that might not work (like Quicksave or Suspend that are supported in some GBA games), but otherwise it should work fine.

Why do I get the feeling what he's looking for then doesn't exist.. for obvious reasons... unless someone had nothing better to do...?Clements wrote:He wants to run GBA ROMs with his current DS flash cart, rather than buying another flash cart.

What? Why would hardware incompatibilities prevent an Genesis emu from working when NES and SNES emus work? That makes no fucking sense whatsoever.
And yes, there is one. Here it is: http://www.emulation64.com/files/info/811/

jenesis is better, i think.
but with an R4, you just need to drop another 20 bucks and get the EZ Flash 3-in-1. it serves a rumble motor (with power settings), opera browser RAM expansion, AND GBA flashcart. you can then get loaders that will send the GBA to the ez flash and voila! you've just convinced your DS that there's a GBA cartridge in Slot-2. the funnest part is that it's flush with the rest of the DS.
i don't have one of my own yet, but i think that if you get a decent loader, it should back up your saves when you load a different game, so you don't have to lose any progress when flashing a different game.

*bangs head on desk*
It's a joke, referencing one of the most famous ad campaigns in the history of videogaming.
It's not even a particularly imaginative joke.
I thought it was pretty clear. Maybe I should've thrown in a "blast processing" reference, and a few LOLs too.
