No, I was just gathering some performance data. I'll soon upload the Core2 duo and Quad betas after my exams are finishedDullaron wrote:AamirM I have a Intel Core 2 Quad and I didn't notice any speed issue at all. Are you talking about Regen speed issue on Intel Core 2 Duo?

I hope it will be. It has many of the features of Windows version (though still buggy). When its nearly finished I'll let you beta test itDancemasterGlenn wrote:Haha, awesome. I can wait as long as it takes, I can tell your next release is going to be killer.

As King of Chaos said, it uses a protection. Hopefully this unlicensed game will be supported in the next version. I'll look into the sound problems.zack wrote:about the Ya-Se Chuan Shuo (Ch).
there are some modfified version of the game that works in kega.
Ya-Se Chuan Shuo (Ch) [f1]
Ya-Se Chuan Shuo (Ch) [f2]
they works in regen too, but sound in the game is totally wrong.

I think it might depend on the scene. I tried the first level of Sonic 2, like neo had at first just out of curiosity, and got 999.0 FPS. If the limit was higher, it would have been faster.AamirM wrote:Hi,
Regen seems to run faster on single core processors. Since many people have the multiple-core processors I can upload a special build (using some OpenMP directives to parallelize) for them if they want more speed.

You could for example write it in Notepad and save it as UTF-8.
