Fixed!
I refuse to accept a questionable fix(The Mana series doesn't use numbers, and Dawn of Mana is the name of the remake) from someone that would say

even if they meant it ironically.

You are one of those hardcore oldschool faggots. You think SNES games and beyond are for babies. You havent bought any remakes of this game, you play the original because uglier graphics and clunky, inferior gameplay is how you define your manhood.

If you said FINAL FANTASY II:
You meant FF4 Easy Mode didnt you? Dumbass, get your FF numbering right.

If you said FINAL FANTASY III:
If you are still under the impression that FF3 is for Super Nintendo, go kill yourself. Otherwise, you are a combined Wapanese and faggot video game collector who hoards bucketloads of games. Ironically, even with this massive video game collection, you still play less games than your average gamer. In the unlikely chance that you have played the NES version of this game and it is your favorite... NOBODY CARES.

If you said FINAL FANTASY IV:
You grew up on SNES games. You dont even look at matters of gameplay or art direction; this game gives you your nostalgia buzz, so the rest obviously suck. You probably still call it Final Fantasy II. Never mind the fact that its the only game in the series other than FF1 that doesnt offer any sort of secondary growth system beyond pure levelling, making it dull and uninteresting to unbiased gamers.

If you said FINAL FANTASY V:
You probably played this game on a SNES rom back when the translation was first made because you are a gigantic Wapanese. You think its cool to play something that wasnt released in America even though you dont speak Japanese and someone else translated it for you. These combined reasons are why you conveniently forget that the storyline of this game COMPLETELY SUCKS ASS. I bet you played Seiken Densetsu III as well didnt you? The gameplay AND the storyline sucks ass.

If you said FINAL FANTASY VI:
You liked FF7. But you either are a SNES fanboy or a counter-popular fag, because you decided to call this game your favorite. Why? Because its a lot like FF7, which is your real favorite FF, and its pretty easy, too. If FF7 fans are bandwagon sheep, then youre an individualistic sheep. Dont fool yourself, your blind devotion to this game is just as buttfucking annoying as FF7 fanboys, if not more so.

If you said FINAL FANTASY VII:
You are an enormous faggot. You saw ads of this game on TV and believed them without question. Even though youve never heard of Final Fantasy before, the ads looked cool. Before you bought it, youd decided it was the best game ever. When you took it home, you were too stupid to understand the plot or materia system, but look, theres a black guy who swears a lot. And youve never played anything with a remotely complex plot before. Nor have you played an RPG before, or encountered steampunk before. NO problem, you just used the gameshark to help you through this embarassingly easy game. It blew your little mind. Most of you would never try another FF game.

If you said FINAL FANTASY VIII:
Youre really stupid, because this is just FF7 with better graphics and an even worse battle system. You are most likely a teenager. And you probably have the same personality as Squall.

If you said FINAL FANTASY IX:
Alleged nostalgia oldschool galore for Final Fantasy IX fans. Even though you claim the game is going back to its roots with its furry characters and airships, and it has a medieval-style setting, the gameplay regardless is essentially the same fucking shit as FF7 and FF8. This is pseudo-nostalgia, folks. You are probably too counter-popular to like FF7 and FF8, but yet too damn young to appreciate the older ones. PS. All the furries in the game arouses you. Yiff in hell furfags.

If you said FINAL FANTASY X:
Two reasons: graphics and Aurons sexy ass/Lulus massive tits.

If you said FINAL FANTASY X-2:
One reason: ... (This ones pretty obvious right?)

If you said FINAL FANTASY XI:
GRIND GRIND GRIND I HERD YOU LIEK MMORPGS GRIND GRIND GRIND. I bet you like Dragon Quest too huh?

If you said FINAL FANTASY XII:
MMO(ffline)RPG-lite.
Congratulations, only are you a retard, but you don't even get the FF2 entry right.

The mana series sometimes uses numbers in its original names, and the out-of-japan name of the remake is Sword of Mana.

Let's go back at it...

DMG::Seiken Densetsu -> Final Fantasy Adventure (U) / Mystic Quest (E)
SFC::Seiken Densetsu 2 -> Secret of Mana
SFC::Seiken Densetsu 3 -> ???? (profit !)
PS1::Seiken Densetsu -> Legend of Mana
AGB::Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu -> Sword of Mana
NDS::Seiken Densetsu DS -> Children of Mana
PS2::Seiken Densetsu 4 -> Dawn of Mana
NDS::Seiken Densetsu -> Heroes of Mana

Yeah, not getting clearer with the years...

DOH!

Anyways, the english names don't get numbers. The Secret of Mana 0 name is even dumber than Secret of Mana 2 for SD3 was.

Off topic question: Why in the fuck is the GB sometimes referred to as the DMG?

Because the model code for the original GameBoy was DMG, with the system's code being DMG-001.

DMG almost certainly stands for "Dot-Matrix Game"

It's similar to how GameCube products use the DOL product code fromt eh Dolphin prototype days, with the system being DOL-001.

At least I put in the effort to write such an article.

What about you? You just sit in your parent's basement doing nothing except critcising my piece of work.

If you think you can do better, then write one yourself. Otherwise, shut up.

Oops my bad! I used () instead of "". Even if the name is completely incorrect people will still continue to call SD3 by Secret of Mana 2.
Yes I know that my grammar sucks!

You fail at trolling.

I, on the other hand, have unspeakable powers.
