Snes gamecube controller..?!

Post by neo_bahamut1985 »

I was thinking of getting a controller that lets me play Virtual Console games with ease, but I want to make it as comfortable and nostalgic as possible. Is it better to get one of these http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?categoryID=80 or to get a Classic Controller? I appreciate all feedback.

I have no problems with playing Super Nintendo games on the Wii with a Classic Controller. To be quite honest, it feels nostalgic, and yet a bit modern.

I don't know if those RetroZone adapters work. If they do, I don't see why you wouldn't want to go for it. :?

That website looks, I don't know, kind of...shady..? Maybe I'll stick with a Classic Controller.

Classic controller FTW. The D-pad is much better than the shitty one on the GC pad and Wiimote, too.
Why yes, my shift key *IS* broken.

Either one will work, but seriously, there's nothing at all shady about that site. I know plenty of people who have ordered those adapters, and they work just fine. let's not get all paranoid for no good reason.

What are you talking about, the Wiimote's d-pad rules. D:

I don't mind the Gamecube D-pad, but i despise the wiimote d-pad.

IMO the N64 D-pad was the best.... too bad no games ever used it.... until i made my snes adapter :P

Aaaaand we can safely ignore everything after this.

The 'Cube's d-pad is completely and utterly atrocious. It's uncomfortable, inaccurate, and poorly-located. There's no redeeming value, it has no good points.

There's simply no reason for it or the GBA d-pad(are they actually the same part, like I think?) to exist.

It's not an overreaction. It's stupidly small and misplaced.
The wii remote dpad is just stupidly small. So there's an improvement.

Well, that site seems to use Paypal, so it's secure AFAIK. So, it's reliable to get a Snes->GCN controller?

Not really. Using the original meme is only better when it's ironically on topic. The rest of the time it's funnier to alter the original to fit the current topic.

The 4chan lemmings don't under-DO YOU LIKE MUDKIPS-stand why spamming a selected catchphrase ver-I'M IN UR BASE KILLIN UR DUDEZ-batim in any unrelated situation isn't the height of comedy. They've never heard of DO A BARREL ROLL! timing, apparently.
