NTSC-filter configuration does not save (or load?)

Post by aplsin »

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click RGB-preset.
2. Restart ZSNES.
3. The used preset will now be S-VIDEO (confirmed by clicking S-VIDEO and spotted no difference).

The strange thing is that all the sliders are the same, for example "Resolution" under "ADV NTSC" is still at 70%, it's like ZSNES doesn't even care what the sliders are.

Btw, does the RGB-preset change something that is not adjustable with the sliders? Because the only on the sliders between the S-VIDEO- and RGB preset is "Resolution" (20% for NTSC, 70% for RGB), but if I click the S-VIDEO preset and change resolution manually från 20% to 70% it still doesn't look like the RGB-preset.

Did some more testing..
This does not happen with the Composite- or S-VIDEO presets, and i think the problem might have something to do with the fact that the RGB-preset changes something that is not adjustable with the sliders, and ZSNES probably only saves the adjustable settings?

Ok i FOUND the bug!

The problem is that the RGB preset button should change Bleeding to -100%, and it does, the problem is that it sets the slider to 0%, so (probably) when the settings get saved it saves the wrong Bleeding value.

So a workaround to this problem is to move the Bleeding-sider to -100% everytime after you clicked the button, then the correct value gets saved and you can enjoy that SWEET RGB-SCART like output! :-)
