First, remove the stupid sig or I SMITE YOU.

* Change the sig in your profile. Add some line breaks, dammit.

BTW, this belongs everywhere but in the Forum discussion. To the zsnes talk with you.

"I downlod it but zsnes can't read it"

WTF does that mean?
whicker: franpa is grammatically correct, and he still gets ripped on?
sweener2001: Grammatically correct this one time? sure. every other time? no. does that give him a right? not really.

Maybe he means ZSNES couldn't read the game file?
Try out CCleaner and other free software at Piriform

Use NSRT to make sure you have a good ROM.

Use load, then select your ROM.

If whatever you typed means that you cant read japanese, go read the sticky in the DeJap forum and that should solve your problem.

probably, it's just hard to understand what 'i download it but zsnes cant read it' means.

It sounds like zsnes cant read the ROM.

If you don't speak english natively, try speaking it in your native tongue, someone here is bound to understand.

Unless you are a native english speaker and just fucking retarded.

If you have Windows XP, try to browse the zip file ("Compressed Folder") that you downloaded and tell us what you see inside. If there is a file ending in "IPS", then you do not have the ROM image file. You have a patch that can be applied to the ROM image file. If you don't see an IPS file, tell us the names of the files that you do see. If you did not download a zip file, let us know what the filename is.

1 stop censoring yourself, say fuck or shut the fuck up
2 as Ichinisan said, you need a ROM file, they are usually zipped, but if you unzip them, the extension will be .smc
3 do not ask where to find ROM's, that is against board rules, go use google or something
4 do not say where you found said ROM, that is also against board rules

Not necessarily, although most of the time it probably will be.

Agreed 8) I was browsing for GBA ROMs at college, and one site was crazy enough to upload them all in native *.gba format instead of zipping them first.
<Nach> so why don't the two of you get your own room and leave us alone with this stupidity of yours?

He was saying that there are at least five different *valid* SNES ROM image filename extensions.

A few from the top of my head:
SMC
SFC
FIG
SWC
BIN
...

Oh ok, I was assuming he meant that some sites upload the images in native format (*.smc, *.sfc, *.bin, ect), unzipped. Sorry

Exactly. MGD, MGH, DX2, GD3, GD7, USA, EUR, JAP, AUS, although most of those are very uncommon.

These are direct from the NSRT source, FYI. MGH is a dump from the Multi Game Hunter, a copier which supported both SNES and Genesis. DX2 seems like it would be a dump from a Super Wildcard DX2, but I think they just come out with the extension SWC. But hey, Nach obviously has seen some in the wild else he wouldn't include them.
