Xbox 360 controller problems
Hello Im new to this forum so ill just make this my greeting post, how are you etc etc.
Anyway Ive been trying to use an Xbox 360 controller(wired, USB) to play ZSNES. Its gone pretty good until actually playing. Basically its not very responsive or too responsive, it wont always tell it to go which way I push or it will continue going left even after I let go of the stick. This mostly messes w/ me when im playing super mario and it really screws with my menu choices in earthbound.
Im using JoyToKey and I have all the latest drivers. Ive tried recalibrating but to no avail. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks for your time.

Hello. Im new to this stuff and i don't know much about ZSNES. I just downloaded it yesterday. I also downloaded donkey kong rom with it. I did not like the controls so i decided to use my 360 controller. I don't want to make a new topic about this because there are already too many topics about ps3/360 controller help, so i just posted it here. I installed the software that the controller needs from Microsoft's site. I opened zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) and went to config and changed the keys. I tried to play but it was all messed up. The buttons were working sometimes they were not. And it totally messed up the sound. I have no idea how to fix this. I have ZSNES 151
please help

The board filter strikes gain for another emu name misspelling.

Your signature was changed by the swear filter because you said zsnes (btw i'm too stupid to learn the name of the emulator) and not ZSNES._An~Alien_ wrote:WTF? Who changed my sig? Think of it is a "word" replacer for certain words that you type out._An~Alien_ wrote:WTH is the board filter?
If we wanted to...And can't the mods change it?
You know can edit your own sig...Edit: Well now i know how to spell it. Can someone change it back? PLEASE?

I have the same problem using pinnacle (3rd party software). It freezes when I try to use input controls in zsnes like first post. Since I don't want to give up pinnacle (allows 360 controller to browse around windows) I found a work around.probably because joytokey is still installed,
I just tell zsnes to bind to keyboard keys, then tell pinnacle to point 360 controller to those keys.
